Cities are an incredibly important part of the whole climate change challenge and sustainability in general. When you consider that approximately 50% of the world's population is housed in cities and that over 70% of the world's energy is consumed in cities then the contribution to CO2 emissions is enormous. Green Oak has been working on a number of city-wide projects and is planning some very innovative solutions to enable cities to gather valuable information on carbon and other sustainability measures that can be used to drive future policy and planning.
