Standards and Legislation

Over the past few years a number of standards and forums have been developed for carbon and sustainability management. A number of countries have also implemented legislation aimed at encouraging carbon reduction efforts in business and government. This is typically driven by either cap and trade schemes such as the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme in the UK or through a carbon tax.
