Waterman enhances Greenspace product with the addition of carbon management software

Global multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm Waterman Group has contracted Green Oak Solutions to deliver carbon emissions management software as part of its online Greenspace environmental management system.

Steve Power, Associate Director for Waterman Energy, Environment and Design said "We believe that the best way to manage our clients' sustainability and carbon management needs is through the use of easy to use on-line applications that centralize data, project status and reporting. Our existing Greenspace platform provides clients with a customised online framework for ISO 14001 management. The addition of Carbon Manager provides an operational tool to monitor and measure progress for key environmental aspects."

The Carbon Manager has also been specifically developed to meet the data gathering and reporting requirements of the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) which requires businesses and public sector organisations to reduce CO2 emissions through the administration of a cap and trade scheme.
