Carboncheck
has been designed to provide users with the ability to manage the
key elements of a robust sustainability and carbon management
programme.
Organisational
Structure
The
organisation can be easily mapped using carboncheck's graphical
interface. The extremely flexible structure supports organisations,
divisions, regions, business units, subsidiaries, locations and
sub-locations.
The system
also tracks changes in organisation structure such as mergers or
de-mergers.
Each system
user has a user profile or permission that define which roles they
can undertake.
Data Capture
Carboncheck is
extremely flexible and can be used to gather sustainability and
carbon data for a variety of indicators including but not limited
to:
- Energy - from buildings
and infrastructure
- Transport - including
fleet, business travel, logistics and employee commuting
- Water usage and
waste water
- Waste - volume of waste
and associated treatment methods including landfill, reuse,
recycling etc.
- Fugitive emissions - from
processes and plant
Data is
captured in measured units and carboncheck's conversion engine
handles translation in tonnes of CO2.
Gathering data
can be a real challenge when you consider the variety of sources
and particularly in multi-national organisations that have
information stored locally across the globe. Carboncheck has been
designed to minimise administrative effort wherever possible.
Automated data capture is clearly preferable and carboncheck
supports this wherever possible. If a required data capture module
is not currently available for your data source then we will build
one for you.
Reporting
Carobncheck's
professional dashboards provide an organisational view of carbon
and sustainability indicators with the ability to drill down on a
location by location basis. Measures include absolute measurements
and relative measures based upon a number of different benchmarks
including number of employees, revenue, building size.
Carboncheck
has a comprehensive set of reports that help organisations meet
stakeholder requirements. This includes data extracts that can be
used to provide voluntary and statutory reports including CRC, CDP
and GRI indicators. Information can be exported in a number of
different formats including Excel, HTML and PDF. If we don't
currently have the specific report format that your organisation
needs then we'll build it for you.
